Heard Group's Expansion Joints at Kmart, Westfield Carindale

We’re proud to have supplied our Medium Duty Floor Expansion Joint System to a major Aussie retailer. Taking up residence in the downsized David Jones at Westfield Carindale, is a brand new Kmart, where you can see our Medium Duty Floor Expansion Joints installed into a vinyl floor.

 

Kmart has certainly changed since opening its first store in ’89. It’s gone from super budget to stocking super trendy bits and pieces. I know this personally because I see all the stuff my wife is constantly buying! Guess that’s why they have a revenue of over $8 billion and 209 stores across Australia!

 

The Heard Group Medium Duty Floor Expansion Joint comes standard with an aluminium grip grooved cover plate and allows for 60mm of movement. The Medium Duty Floor Expansion Joint has heavy 25UM anodising and is made from structural steel grade aluminium. All of our expansion joints are supplied with stainless steel centre bars which won’t rust or corrode and all fixings required for installation are provided.

 

Able to be installed indoors or outdoors, the Medium Duty Floor Joint is perfect for installation in areas with a constant flow of pedestrian traffic such as shopping centres, retail stores, convention centres, schools or any public space wherein you’d find pedestrians.

 

The Medium Duty Floor Expansion Joint is able to be installed into vinyl, carpet, paved or tiled floors.
