Topping Slabs (High Profile Joint)

Heard Group’s expansion joint covers for topping slabs are the perfect solution where there is a requirement for the expansion joint to be installed prior to a topping slab being formed. Anchoring the expansion joint cover plate system to the structural concrete slab.

The Continuous Angle Leg System creates formwork allowing the concrete slab to be poured up to and including the expansion joint system preventing the concrete from bridging the expansion joint gap by way of retaining the concrete with its continuous angle leg system. This system is ideal for tiler’s tile bedding.

The angle leg system is manufactured using either structural aluminium or galvanised mild steel depending on the application.

The Continuous Angle Leg System is supplied in 4.8m modular lengths with the continuous angle pre-assembled, ready for fast installation. Available with an aluminium or stainless steel cover plate and all fixings required for installation are provided.

The Heavy Duty Lifted Allthread Expansion Joint System is ideal for positioning an expansion joint cover in a structural concrete topping slab where high loads are required to traverse the joint.

The Allthread Anchoring System allows the joint to be manipulated to match the fall into drain wastes created in the final level of the profile.

The Heavy Duty Lifted Allthread Expansion Joint System is supplied in 4.8m modular lengths with all 10mm allthread studs provided, cut to suit the height of your structural slab, ready for fast installation.  Isolation foam to prevent debris from entering the expansion joint gap is also provided for easy installation.
