The Heard Group Medium Duty Floor Expansion Joint Cover has a massive 60mm of movement range, more than what you’ll ever need for any retail application. The aluminium cover plates have grip grooves for some slip resistance and are manufactured from architectural structural grade aluminium, as are their base components. Stainless steel centre bars with nylon moulded balls allows the expansion joint cover to move in thermal expansion. Being made from stainless steel the centre bars can withstand heavy loads unlike similar expansion joint covers containing mild steel or plastic centre bars.
